What personal information we collect and why we collect it

Media files

If you are uploading an image to the site, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Site visitors can download and extract any location data from images on the site.

Contact Forms, Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site, you can enable your name, email address, and site to be saved in a cookie. This is for your convenience, so you don’t have to re-fill your information the next time you leave a comment. These cookies will be stored for 1 year.
If you have an account with the site and log in, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser supports cookies, the cookie does not contain any personal information and is deleted when you close your browser.

How long we keep your data

If you leave a comment, it and its metadata are stored indefinitely. This way we can automatically identify and approve each subsequent comment instead of keeping them in a queue for moderation.

All users can view, edit or delete their personal information at any time (except that they cannot change their username). Site administrators can also view and change this information.
